By March of 2006 the road to the beach is nearly complete.  Some areas of Dry Creek were filled in to make the road.  Because of extemely dry winter, no water is present in this area of Dry Creek.  Also, a pipeline was built extending to just behind the mouth.  The pipeline supposedly connects to the surface water run-off ponds of the current landfill.
